A young Kenyan woman could just be one of the lucky staff who will be working in Joe Biden’s White House if the Democratic candidate wins in November.
Esther Ongeri is among a team of staff working with Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden in the US presidential campaigns.
Ms Ongeri who some sources intimate is the granddaughter of Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri is the Director of Special Projects in Biden’s 2020 campaign.
In her LinkedIn profile, she is listed as a graduate of Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey and has a Bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Saint Peter’s University.
Still in the same campaign team in June 2019, Ms Ongeri was working as an executive assistant to the campaign manager and special projects coordinator.
In February 2018 to June 2019, Ms Ongeri was the Special Projects Associate to the CFO.
She started off as an intern in the office of  Senator Menendez from New Jersey between August 2015 to May 2016 before climbing to her current position.
Joe Biden is a Democratic party presidential nominee who is toughing it out with the current president Donald Trump, a Republican.
Biden who was Barack Obama’s vice-president has been in US politics since the 1970s.

The Democrat has been ahead of Trump in most national polls since the start of the year ahead of the November 3, 2020, elections.
Most of the polls suggest that Biden has big leads in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. These are the states where Trump won by small margins in 2016.
The US media reports that white seniors have expressed their disapproval at how Trump has handled the pandemic in the country.
