President Uhuru Kenyatta has continued to groom Super Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i and shielding him from the angry crocodiles ready to devour him.
While addressing hundreds of boda boda operators at Kisii Sports Club today, the President said he assigned Dr Matiang’i a ministry (Interior) which has been well run but, fails to understand why “some people are attacking my hardworking CS”. Uhuru, who was accompanied by ODM leader Raila Odinga and Dr Matiang’i asked locals to shun leaders out to preach hatred and divisions among peace-loving citizens.
“It is unfair for some people to target him (Matiang’i) unfairly. I have full confidence in his performance and would like you to support him so that he can do even better,” said Kenyatta.
The President donated Sh3 million to the riders revealing that he was ready to go home after his two-term at the presidency but wanted to leave behind a united country “where everyone can live without fear”.
Raila wondered why Ruto had suddenly changed heart to loving the poor in society and youth whom he had resorted to giving wheelbarrows.

“The poor and youth have been there since he (DP) assumed power. If he really cared for them he would give them substantive gifts that can lift one from economic disparity,” he said.
The ODM leader said he was working hard together with the president to create an ideal country for the future generation.
“That is why we are vouching for positive changes in our constitution so that people stop caring who is at the helm of the country’s leadership,” he said. “We will share the proposed changes and let Kenyans have a final say.”
