Kenyans today registered their displeasure their after the body of the late Matungu MP Mr. Murunga was flown to The Lee Funeral Home.
Mr. Murunga passed on yesterday evening after he collapsed. After his death, the body was then taken to St. Mary’s Mumias Mission hospital.
However, Kenyans were angered after the legislator’s remains were transported to Nairobi’s Lee Funeral Home. They took to their social media to question why the body was being taken to Nairobi instead of being preserved in his constituency where he died.
According to these Kenyans, there was no essence of transporting the late all the way from Western Kenya only to be taken back for burial. Some added that the act amounted to “wastage of resources.”
