I Will Not Apologize To Looters Who Destroyed Our Country – Sudi

Date:

Kapserat MP Oscar Sudi says he will not apologize to President Uhuru and his family over his controversial remarks saying he did not abuse anyone.

Sudi said he did not abuse anyone and those condemning over his remarks were brokers and looters who destroyed the country.

“Let them tell me my mistake. All mothers are the same and we respect them but I did not abuse anyone,” he said.

Sudi also insisted he did not speak on behalf of the Deputy President and he had his thoughts and brains.

The lawmaker who has been condemned by leaders across the political divide said he is surprised to see so many women agitated over his remarks on Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

“They gathered in big numbers to confront me but I want to tell them that I did not abuse anyone. They should instead apologize to me for not understanding what I said,” he said.

“It is even in the bible, that was not an insult, I will apologize once people show me where I went wrong,” he continued.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday in Eldoret Sudi said he cherishes peace and leads from the front in uniting Kenya but insisted he sit but and watch when being intimidated.

“…they don’t have to come for me. Let them just call and tell me where am needed and I will go. No need to send so many police officers here,” Sudi added.

A few weeks ago Sudi caused an uproar in the country after attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta and the first family accusing the President of being behind Ruto’s woes.

“I want to tell Uhuru clearly that this country does not belong to you or Mama Ngina. Kenya does not belong to Muhoho Kenyatta. This country belongs to the over 50 million Kenyans,” Sudi fired on Monday.

The Deputy President has however distanced himself from Sudi’s sentiments saying they use of unsavory language against the president and mothers wasn’t acceptable.

“Leaders should exercise restraint and avoid insults and bad language against other Kenyans. Unsavory words against mothers and Head of State is a NO, NO. No amount of anger justifies the use of offensive insulting language,” Ruto said.
